y! The 2022 Balena from Castoro Cellars is a delightful white blend. It’s a delicate, aromatic fusion of Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Falanghina, and Grenache Blanc. The name “Balena” means whale in Italian, paying homage to their organically certified Whale Rock Vineyard, where many of the grapes are grown. Interestingly, this vineyard is studded with ancient whale fossils dating back millions of years! The 2022 Balena offers pleasant aromatics, crispness, and refreshing flavors. 🍇🌿🐋
