The initial nose is characterized by exceptional freshness and great liveliness, with the harmonious pairing of notes of pear and citrus - lemon, grapefruit and tangerine peel - delicately heightened and rounded by notes of sweet spices (cinnamon, clove) and vanilla. After swirling, the nose becomes richer with more pronounced candied notes of prunes and raisins. The mouth is at once sharp, frank, and full, with distinct lemon and tangerine-peel notes that structure the mid-palate and support the long finish that develops generous notes of pastries and plum jam.
