Albino Armani Pinot Grigio "Corvara" — 750ml | 12.5% ABV
A Single-Vineyard Expression from the Valdadige Albino Armani "Corvara" is a premium, single-vineyard Pinot Grigio sourced from the Valdadige DOC in Northern Italy. Unlike mass-produced Pinot Grigios, the Corvara bottling comes from a specific site where the Adige River Valley narrows, creating a unique microclimate of limestone-rich soils and significant temperature shifts between day and night. This results in a wine with far more structural depth and aromatic complexity than standard expressions.
Artisanal Vinification and Terroir The Armani family has been cultivating grapes in this valley since 1607. For the Corvara release, the grapes are hand-harvested and undergo a long, cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by several months of aging sur lie (on the lees). This technique imparts a creamy texture and savory weight to the palate that balances the grape's natural high acidity.
