El Guel Espadin Mezcal - 1L

El Güel Mezcal is produced by a small cooperative directed and overseen by maestro mezcalero Alberto Morales of Wahaka Mezcal. The cooperative brings together budding, young mezcaleros from San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca. The cooperative’s goal is to produce an artisanal mezcal using old school, sustainable methods with an increasing number of mezcaleros from the community -- many that don’t have the resources to export or create their own brand. As opposed to succumbing to the pressure of incorporating industrial techniques, the cooperative will continue to add local producers paying fair prices for mezcal.
