Hatcher 2018 Alicante Bouschet - 750ml

Fruit from the Cooper Ranch Vineyard in Amador County.  Aged 24 months in American oak.  20% new.  This rare red flesh grape produces rich black wines.  Aromas of chocolate, espresso, plum and oak.  Flavors of black cherry and blackberry pie.  Integrated tannins make this big wine approachable and cellar worthy.  Grilled tri tip with this wine might be just the thing to warm up these California winter nights.
